- Adjust the seat so your hips and lower back remain supported at the bottom.
- Place both feet securely on the platform at roughly shoulder width.
- Release the safety, lower the platform under control and keep knees tracking with toes.
- Press through the whole foot and finish without forcefully locking the knees.

- Keep your pelvis and back against the pad.
- Use the deepest comfortable range you can control.
- Keep pressure distributed across heel, big toe and little toe.
- Allowing the lower back to round away from the pad.
- Letting the knees collapse inward.
- Bouncing out of the bottom or locking the knees aggressively.
